On day 4, search on for 10 missing in T’gana

Rescue and search ‘operations continued on Thursday for the 10 people who went missing in the aftermath of the explosion that occurred at the industrial facility belonging to Sigachi Industries Ltd. at Pashamylaram village in the Sangareddy district on Monday, police said on Thursday. The explosion killed 38 people.

Following the incident, Sangareddy police filed an FIR under Sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 110 (attempting to commit culpable homicide), and 117 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of BNS . The FIR was based on a complaint by Rajanala Sai Yashwant, son of Venkata Jagan Mohan (55), one of the workers killed in the explosion.

“Only after we get to know the exact cause of the incident, will we be able to identify the accused and arrest them,” Sangareddy district superintendent of police Paritosh Pankaj told HT.
