Bengaluru doses have become a bit of a trend across cities these days.

Lots of places across various cities have been inspired by our thick, crisp doses, chutneys and other aspects. I am referring to the classic Bengaluru darshini style dose. Many of these places get the appearance right, due to the addition of fats, often in excess of what is needed, smearing chutneys and other means. And due to that reason, the taste is far from what is representative. Many times, this results in a needlessly heavy dose that is cloying and fat forward, than flavour forward.
