DIST COURT ORDERS RELIEF FOR NUH FARMERS

The Nuh district court has directed compensation for cultivators whose standing crops were damaged due to illegally constructed roads in Basai Meo in Ferozepur Jhirka.

The order issued on July 2, also calls for strict disciplinary action against the district revenue and consolidation officer, for alleged collusion and negligence.

The case emerged following a suo motu action initiated by the deputy commissioner based on long-pending litigation before the Supreme Court and subsequent reports from the Central Empowered Committee (CEC), highlighting severe environmental violations and illegal road activity along the Haryana-Ra-jasthan border in Nuh district.
