The continuing fiasco at the Delhi airport exposes a system insensitive to fliers' interest

The chaos at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Sunday, with two out of every three flights taking off or landing at the airport delayed, underlines, among other things, the scant regard for fliers' interest on the part of the aviation service ecosystem. It is clear that poor planning, inaction, inept management, and regulatory deficit caused these delays.
