8-Year-Old Boy Injured in Attack by Stray Dogs in Shimla

SHIMLA: An 8-year-old boy on his way to school was injured after being attacked by seven to eight stray dogs near the Dhali tunnel in Shimla suburb.

The boy was taken to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla for treatment.

After this incident, the boy's father, Karam Chand Bhatia, sat in protest outside the mayor's office, alleging the problem of stray dogs and monkeys is increasing day by day in the city.

Mayor Surinder Chauhan, said, "We have sent teams to remove stray dogs from the area where the attack took place."
