CULLOMPTON were on the receiving end of a nine-wicket hiding when they ran into Torquay & Kingskerswell.
Cullompton's total of 186 all out was made to look very modest indeed as the Rec Grounders polished it off inside 33 overs.
Three defeats in the last four starts - Hatherleigh was the odd one out - have dropped Cully within five points of the relegation places.
A win at Thorverton this Saturday would be a welcome step in the right direction for skipper Brendon Parr.
