UAE athlete Mohammed Al Musabbi claimed the gold medal in the 1000 metres race in the youth category under the glittering lights of Monaco’s Stade Louis II at during the event held alongside the Diamond League on Friday in Monaco.

With unwavering focus and the weight of a nation’s hopes on his shoulders, Musabbi stood poised at the starting line—flanked by 20 of Europe's most promising young runners. In the moments that followed, he would not just run a race, but etch a new chapter in the story of UAE athletics.
Musabbi recorded a time of 2:34.44 minutes, setting a new national record in the youth category.
