Thousands gather to mark 54th Eid Al Etihad in Dubai

The celebration of UAE 54th Eid Al Etihad witnessed an exceptional turnout, as more than 3,500 people gathered to share with their children a remarkable atmosphere that reflected the spirit of the country: a spirit of unity, harmony, pride, and dignity at Al Mawakeb School, Al Barsha Dubai.

The event was graced by the honourable presence of Sheikha Rawda Bint Maktoum Al Maktoum, as well as Maryam Bin Theneya, Second Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council.

In her heartfelt speech, she praised the school’s performance, quality of education, and distinctive initiatives. She emphasised that the harmony she witnessed between parents and staff serves as a model for raising a conscious generation that loves its nation.

During her tour, she commended the students’ performances and encouraged them to continue striving forward.

The celebration was further enriched by the presence of beloved public figures, including Emirati artist Abdullah Belkhair and content creator Mohammed Al Baloushi (Wansni), whose participation brought joy and enthusiasm to the audience.

In his address, School Principal Moussa Chahbaz emphasised that Al Mawakeb is not merely celebrating Union Day, but honouring a national journey built on faith and hard work.

He reaffirmed the school’s commitment to instilling a deep sense of belonging and nurturing a generation ready to carry the nation’s banner with confidence, awareness, and love.
