Temperature to gradually rise this month: NCM

A clear weather in general is expected to prevail on Saturday through Monday, while the weather will be partly cloudy and dusty at times with a drop in temperature in the west, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

May is considered as a month of the first transitional period (spring) between winter and summer, the NCM said, adding that during this month, the sun continues to move apparently north of the equator, as the day gradually lengthens in the northern hemisphere. This in turn leads to a gradual rise in temperature in most parts of the country during this month, it said.

The NCM stated that the maximum temperature during the current week would range between 32 and 46 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius.
