Man to get Dhs160,000 in fraud case

The Al Ain Court for Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Cases ordered a man to pay another Dhs160,000 in a fake investment case.

The case dates back to when a man filed a lawsuit demanding another pay him Dhs150,000, along with Dhs20,000 in compensation, 128 annual legal interest from the date of the lawsuit until full payment, in addition to legal fees and expenses.

The plaintiff claimed that the appellee deceived him by claiming to own private companies and investments, promising high returns if he invested.

The plaintiff handed over Dhs150,000 in two instalments, documented in a receipt.
