Lampard hails 'outstanding' Coventry after comeback win

Frank Lampard lauded his side's resolve after the English Championship leaders came from two goals down to win 3-2 at home to IO-man West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Aune Heggebo’s double put the visitors 2-0 up but Josh Eccles pulled a goal back before the break.

And after Jayson Molumby had been sent off four minutes into the second half, goals from Ellis Simms and Victor Torp continued the fightback as Coventry completed a ninth win in IO matches, with the Sky Blues seven points clear of second-placed Middlesbrough.

"Outstanding," said Lampard. "I thought we played well all of the game but just made a couple of mistakes that are not normally our thing this season.
