KP CM moves IHC for Imran's medical examination

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking monthly medical examinations for his jailed leader, the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan by a team from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH).
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has said that after the recent conviction of several MPs by anti-terrorism courts (ATCs), his party’s strength in the National Assembly has now been reduced to 76 lawmakers. “While the PTI had won 180 seats in the Feb.8, 2024 general elections, its electoral mandate was snatched,” he said.
