Cloudy weather, slight drop in mercury likely today

Drizzles to heavy rain fell on separate areas in Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Tuesday. The rain fell on south eastern Ghasab, southern Bu Hamra, northern Madinat Zayed, Asab, Liwa and Arada in Al Dhafra Region and on Margham in Dubai.

Wednesday's weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy with low clouds appearing in the east and a slight drop in temperature. The weather, however, will be humid at night and on Thursday morning in some coastal and inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog.

Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times during the day at IO to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the waves will be regular to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and regular in the Sea of Oman.
