Students to be trained in first aid, fire safety

480,000 students in 548 public and private schools to be covered

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) and Alef Education have launched the second phase of the Bader Educational Awareness Project aimed at instilling a deep-rooted culture of safety and emergency prevention across the UAE's school system.

The first phase in 2021-24 reached thousands of students.

The second phase (2025-29) will cover 548 public and private schools that utilise the Alef platform — 173 in Abu Dhabi and 375 across other emirates.
