SHARJAH POLICE INTERVENE 13-year-old boy drawn to drugs on WhatsApp saved

Sharjah Police stepped in to save a 13-year-old Emirati boy who became addicted to drugs through WhatsApp.
Brig Majid Al Asam, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department at Sharjah Police, said that the boy's father contacted the police for help. The boy had received random messages offering drugs. He transferred money as asked, acquired the drugs and began using them.
