NEXT-GEN DATA, MIDDLE EAST RISING

As data and Al solutions continue to evolve at lightning speed, providers in the UAE and wider Middle East must remain alert to five emerging trends that will define competitiveness, compliance, and client value in the near future.

Rise of sovereign cloud and data localisation

Data privacy laws across the region are tightening, with countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar introducing regulations that mandate sensitive data to be stored locally. This has catalysed demand for sovereign cloud solutions — cloud infrastructure built and operated in compliance with national data laws. Al providers must adapt infrastructure offerings to meet local hosting requirements and align their solutions with region-specific compliance standards, without compromising performance.

Industry-specific Al integration
