Flexible work for Emiratis supporting elderly parents

ABU DHABI INITIATIVE FOR EMPLOYEES AIMS TO ENHANCE WORK-LIFE BALANCE

The Family Development Foundation (FDF) and the Government Empowerment Department, in collaboration with the Department of Community Development — Abu Dhabi, have launched a new flexible work service.

The initiative enables Emirati employees, who serve as primary caregivers for their elderly parents, to benefit from flexible working arrangements. This service is part of the Barakatna initiative launched by President His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The initiative aims to empower caregivers by helping them strike a balance between their family responsibilities and professional obligations.
