Expanded role for domestic worker recruitment offices

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emirati-sation (MoHRE) has said that domestic worker re-cruitment agencies are now required to handle a range of services on behalf of em-ployers, including electronic submission, receipt, and printing of applications to the ministry, as well as assisting in medical tests and the issu-ance of Emirates ID cards.

Agencies must also facili-tate the pickup of domestic workers from the airport, in addition to training and pre-paring workers for their roles, and arranging suitable ac-commodation for them.
