Season 4 advanced to avoid T20 World Cup clash; launches on December 2

Fireworks, flags, and festive fervour — the DP World ILT20 is moving into celebration mode.

Kicking off on Eid Al Etihad (UAE National Day) this December, Season 4 of the Gulf region’s biggest T20 league will blend cricket with the country's festive spirit, giving Dubai Capitals the perfect stage to begin their title defence.

The six-team, 34-match tournament has shifted from its traditional January—February slot and will now run from December 2 to January 4, aligning with Eid Al Etihad and Christmas — giving fans the chance to watch their stars in action during the holiday period. The calendar adjustment comes in response to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in February—March 2026.
