Aster launches first robotic orthopaedic surgery facility

Aster DM Healthcare has launched the first robotic surgery facility in the UAE at Aster Hospital Mankhool, marking a major advancement in orthopaedic care with the introduction of the ROSA robotic knee joint replacement system.

This cutting-edge technology offers real-time data, 3D modelling and a personalised surgical approach, significantly enhancing precision and surgical outcomes.

Indian boxing legend Mary Kom inaugurated the facility. Kom, also a former member of India’s upper house of Parliament, lauded the hospital’s commitment to innovation and its patient-centric approach to health care advancements.
