16,000 people, 54m steps, and one very long flag

It was woven by 27 People of Determination

More than 16,000 residents raised a 1.2-kilometre UAE flag and collectively logged over 54 million steps along a 2.5km route in Al Ain City as part of celebrations for the UAE's 54th National Day.

The massive flag was specially woven by 27 People of Determination.

Held as part of the Year of Community initiatives, the "March of the Nation" was hosted by the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination.
