FRESHNEY PLACE SHOP AMONG 30 SET TO CLOSE THIS MONTH
THE River Island store in Grimsby is among nearly 30 that are set to close their doors this month. Last year, the fashion retailer announced plans to shut 33 locations following High Court approval of a major restructuring plan.
Among the original list of 33 outlets, a number of stores stopped trading in the final months of 2025. The company has now released closure dates for an additional 27 stores, all of which will shut towards the end of January.
