Hate crime Transphobic graffiti sprayed ahead of town's Pride celebration

A HATE crime investigation has been launched after transphobic graffiti was left across Stroud ahead of a Pride event.
Gloucestershire Police has released CCTV images of two people officers want to speak to in connection with the incident.
Police were called to Bank Gardens at around 8.45am on Saturday, June 28, after reports transphobic graffiti had been sprayed on walkways and paving stones before the Pride event set to take place later that day.
Police say around 20 slogans targeting transgender people were sprayed around the gardens.
Stickers of a similar nature were also found outside a shop on Kendrick Street.
CCTV footage shows a man and a woman entering the gardens at around 3.30am that morning and using canisters to spray the ground. They left the scene at around 4am.
