Turkey exposed as major cyber warfare ally of Pak in attacks on India

India hits back as Turkey's role in cyber warfare, drone support to Pak surfaces
In a major geopolitical revelation, Turkey has been identified as a central enabler in the recent cyberattacks targeting Indian infrastructure, coinciding with Pakistan's drone assault during the heightened conflict of Operation Sindoor.
These digital strikes coincided with Pakistan's attempted drone incursion on May 8-9, involving hundreds of Turkish-manufactured unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), in what experts now recognise as a well-orchestrated hybrid assault on India.
According to senior cybersecurity officials, multiple attack signatures and traffic logs traced the cyber offensives back to Turkish IP addresses and servers. Investigations also linked several hacktivist operations to groups with pro-Turkey affiliations. These digital incursions ran parallel to deployment of approximately 300 to 400 Asisguard Songar drones by Pakistan, targeting Indian forward bases and surveillance posts. Over 75% of the cyberattacks were aimed at government digital infrastructure, including defence communications and internal portals, reflecting a coordinated attempt to destabilise India during heightened military readiness.
