Speaking to us in an exclusive interview, renowned jewellery designer Ravi Sardiwal, owner of FLOROS reflected on the remarkable journey of gold craftsmanship over the years, highlighting how the essence of authenticity has managed to withstand the test of time.

"The jewellery world has seen immense transformation," says Sardiwal. "Few things have remained untouched by the relentless tides of changing trends."

According to Sardiwal, there was a period when commercial enamel work dominated the market, enchanting buyers with its vibrant hues and accessibility. Similarly, mass-produced Kundan pieces redefined opulence for a time, flooding showcases with glitter and grandeur. However, with the glamour of mass production, he notes, came an inevitable dilution of authenticity.
