A major upheaval has struck Rajasthan’s bureaucracy as IAS officer Dr Bharti Dixit has lodged an FIR against her husband IAS Ashish Modi accusing him of deceiving her and emotionally manipulating her into marriage.

The FIR was registered at the SMS Hospital police station in Jaipur under sections 81, 308(2), 127(2), 140(3), and 61(2) of the BNS, along with sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the IT Act.

In the FIR, Bharti also stated that after the marriage, he managed to get his Nagaland cadre transferred to Rajasthan cadre.
