James Shipton and Stephen Glenfield have joined forces with the founding chief executive of Diversa to establish an independent superannuation trustee.

- Jamie Williamson

Super Trustees Australia has launched to help super trustees meet increased governance expectations and improve outcomes for members. It says it is “purpose built for APRA’s SPS 515 and beyond, led by those who shaped and enforced these standards”.

It is led by managing director Nick Brookes, the founding chief executive of CCSL, now Diversa Trustees. CCSL was founded in 2006 and sold to Diversa Group in 2011.

Brookes was also the founding chief executive of the Corporate Super Association which was established in 1997 and has now ceased.
