Indian Bank Q1 profit climbs 24% to ₹2,973 cr

INDIAN BANK ON Thursday posted a 24% rise in its net profit to ₹2,973 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year.
The Chennai-based lender had earned a net profit of ₹2,403 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income rose to ₹18,721 crore, from ₹16,945 crore in the same period of FY25, Indian Bank said in a regulatory filing.
