HDFC Bank & ICICI Bank Cut FD Rates by 25 bps in Select Tenures

HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank on Tuesday slashed their fixed deposit (FD) rates by 25 basis points (bps) for select tenures.
This move comes after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday slashed the repo rate by 50 bps, bringing it down to 5.5%.
After the revision, ICICI Bank interest rates for general citizens for deposits of below ₹3 crore are in the range of 3%-6.6%. For senior citizens, rates are in the range of 3.50%-7.10%.
