UCO Bank Profit Up 10% on Rise in Fee and Treasury Income

JCO BANK on Monday reported a 10% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in its net profit for the first quarter of FY26 at ₹607.44 crore, supported by a growth in treasury and fee-based income.
Interest income rose 7% to ₹6,436 crore while other income, driven by treasury gains and fees, climbed 19% to ₹997.2 crore. Interest expenses increased 7% to ₹4,032 crore, resulting in a 6.61% y-o-y growth in net interest income, which stood at ₹2,403 crore. The domestic net interest margin (NIM) declined sequentially to
