Panos Mytaros to take over as Bata's new global CEO

BATA GROUP ON Monday announced the appointment of Panos Mytaros as its new global chief executive officer, with effect from September 15.
He will succeed Sandeep Kataria.
Kataria was the first Indian CEO of the Swiss footwear major and led the group since 2020. He has been a part of the company since 2017.
Mytaros brings over 30 years of global leadership experience in the footwear and leather industry. He will join Bata following his stint at ECCO, where he held several senior positions including, most recently, chief executive officer from 2021 to 2024.
