INDIA ON FRIDAY brushed aside US President Donald Trump's recent diatribe, reaffirming that the partnership between the two countries has "weathered" numerous transitions and challenges over the years.
Simultaneously, it defended its long-standing relations with Russia, calling it "steady and time-tested" and not subject to third-party interpretations.
The ministry of external affairs (MEA) made the remarks a day after Trump imposed a 25% tariff on Indian goods and controversially described the Indian economy as "dead".
