Lee to help loved ones after £1m scratchcard win

AN Exeter business owner who bought a random lottery scratchcard discovered seconds later that he was a millionaire.

Lee Dart, 55, decided to invest £5 in a National Lottery Christmas scratchcard after popping into his local store.

He said his tactic when it came to picking scratchcards was to select them completely at random, and this time it had paid off.

After scratching it there and then in the shop, he said, it quickly dawned on him that this was no small prize.

Mr Dart, who runs a signmaking firm, said: “I couldn’t believe it; I must have checked it 20 times.
