Extra buses may take pressure off trains at peak times

AN MP has welcomed extra buses that could help commuters who have been left frustrated by a timetable on the Exeter-Waterloo rail line.

Residents in places such as Cranbrook have been complaining that their commutes into Exeter have been hampered by the temporary reduction in services.

But David Reed, the member for Exmouth & Exeter East, said South Western Railway, which runs the service, has now put on buses to help make it easier for commuters.
