Scot needs two wins at Queen’s this week to claim Wimbledon seeding
ANDY MURRAY is within touching distance of achieving his ambition of being seeded at Wimbledon following back-to-back titles.
A week after winning in Surbiton, he added another Challenger victory in Nottingham by defeating Arthur Cazaux 6-4, 6-4.
Murray will tomorrow step up his bid to make the top 32 in the draw for Wimbledon when he faces Alex di Minaur in the opening round of Queen's.
While it depends on the mathematical permutations of those around him in the world rankings, victory against the highly-rated Australian seventh seed, and potential second-round opponent Diego Schwartzman, should be enough do the job.
