EX-FRANKFURT BOSS HOLDS TALKS WITH PALACE IN BID TO STOP SLUMP
CRYSTAL PALACE were today in talks with former Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner about replacing Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park.
Pressure has been growing on 76-yearold Hodgson after a run of four wins in 18 Premier League matches - and it now seems only a matter of time before he is sacked.
Talks are under way over who will replace Hodgson, and Palace have turned to Glasner after Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna ruled out a move away from the Championship promotion-chasers.
Glasner has been out of work since leaving Frankfurt at the end of last season. The 49-year-old Austrian led Frankfurt to Europa League glory in 2022, after they beat West Ham in the semi-finals, and also got them to the German Cup Final in 2023.
