Burberry doubles down on leather amid £4bn sales target and 'Britishness' focus

BURBERRY is betting big on sales of shoes and handbags as it announced a new target to grow sales to £4 billion within the next three to five years.
The luxury British brand, headed by newly appointed chief executive Jonathan Akeroyd, says it plans to double sales of leather goods and make fashion accessories top 50% of total turnover in the long term.
