MP visits Livingston posties to thank them for delivering Christmas

The visit formed part of Royal Mail's annual Christmas visits programme, which gives local MPs the opportunity to see firsthand the pressures faced by postal workers in the run-up to Christmas and to recognise the vital role they play in local communities.

During the visit, Mr Poynton met postmen and women ahead of their delivery rounds and spoke with Steven Crow, Customer Operations Manager, about the challenges of the festive period, when demand for deliveries increases and days are often longer.
