Charity tractor run is outstanding in its field

ONE of the biggest tractor runs on the East Coast is gearing up to make even more money for charity this year.

Farmer Brown's Tractor Run is expected to return on Sunday October 26.

The chosen charity for this year's Tractor Run is Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN).

Super Hero Sam Brown who has Cerebral Palsy said: "I felt LRSN was a fitting choice of charity for this year given the current situation farmers find themselves in.

"The farming community plays a big part in making this event a success so it feels right to be supporting a service that is there if any of them need support.

"Each year we do the tractor run, I set myself a target to try to beat the year before, this is turning into quite a task.

"Last year we had 96 tractors and raised just over £10,000 for St. Barnabas Hospice and this year, if I can, I would very much like to break the hundred tractors barrier this year.

"So if you have a tractor or access to a tractor, I would love to see you.
