ROGERS HAILS IMPORTANT WIN IN IMPORTANT GAME FOR SPITFIRES

KENT bowler Tom Rogers hailed a “pretty big result” after the Spitfires beat Somerset by four runs in the Vitality Blast at the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton on Sunday.

Openers Tawanda Muyeye and Daniel Bell-Drummond scored 70 and 100 respectively as Kent finished their 20 overs on 228-5 while Somerset could only muster 224-6 in response, with Nathan Gilchrist and Joey Evison taking two wickets each.
