EXCITEMENT and anticipation were evident at Du Toitspan Primary School as the school’s Under-12 and Under-13 netball teams prepared to depart for Upington to compete in the Northern Cape Provincial Play-offs.

The talented young players earned their place in the provincial tournament after impressive performances in the Frances Baard Schools League and will represent their school and region from Sunday through to Tuesday.

Parents, coaches, sponsors and school officials gathered for an official send-off ceremony ahead of the team's departure. The event celebrated the players’ achievements and acknowledged the support network that helped them reach this stage of the competition.
