Will it be Drownload or Dryload as region's huge rock festival approaches?

JUNE is starting off a bit more unsettled across the East Midlands meaning that fans travelling to the forthcoming Download XXII Festival in around 10 days' time should perhaps pack waterproofs - but it's not totally clear yet if they will need them.

The festival, featuring headliners Green Day, Sleep Token and Korn, runs from Friday, June 13, to Sunday, June 15, but campers will start to arrive from Wednesday, June 11, when it looks a bit damp and windy.

The Met Office says changeable conditions in the Donington Park area are “expected to continue into this period.”

All areas across the country are set to see showers or longer spells of rain at times as Atlantic systems move across the UK, which also brings the potential for strong winds.
