MORE than two years have passed since the frightening and shocking events brought by Storm Babet in October 2023, which saw devastating floods across the county and record-breaking river levels along the River Derwent.

Floodgates were sprung into action as severe flood warnings rang out around the county.

In just a few hours, landmarks across the area were either flooded or cut off.
