Taxi driver sought over robbery bid

AN appeal has been launched after a man escaped an attempted robbery by two other men, including an e-bike rider, near Derby city centre.

The two men demanded the victim hand over his phone and wallet, and a tussle ensued close to the junction between Normanton Road and Melbourne Street between midnight and 12.10pm on Thursday, November 6.
