BURTON Albion delivered Boxing Day cheer to their supporters with a brilliant 5-1 home win against Northampton Town in League One yesterday.
After a day of eating turkey and the trimmings, watching films and playing board games, fans packed the Pirelli Stadium for the traditional festive fixture and the Albion players did not disappoint.
Brewers head coach Gary Bowyer elected to stick with the team that went to high-flying Stevenage and drew 2-2 last weekend.
Albion made the perfect start when Kyran Lofthouse robbed Nesta Guinness-Walker of possession in the box and was upended.
