Gala will see steam trains run after all

STEAM trains will now be running at Ecclesbourne Valley Railway's Rail 200 Summer Gala, which will take place at Wirksworth station this weekend.

Following the prolonged period of dry weather, the directors had taken the decision to suspend all steam services as they posed a significant fire risk.
