THERE is nothing like travelling the world with your best friends but competing at the Olympics together might be the cherry on top of Freya Tarbit’s cake.

The 25-year-old skeleton racer from Ockbrook will kick off her maiden Olympic campaign tomorrow alongside Team GB teammates and best friends Tabitha Stoecker and Amelia Coltman.
The trio have all seen success on the World Cup circuit and European Championships this season, either individually or as part of the mixed team event, which will make it’s own Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
It’s proof that the close knit and best friend dynamic within British Skeleton is a key to their success, cheering each other on at every event and creating a positive environment away form the track.
