BOWYER'S MEN COULD TAKE BIG STEP TO SAFETY TOMORROW

- By DAN NEWBOULD

Business end of season as Albion close to completing survival mission

Gary Bowyer's Burton Albion travel to face Peterborough United in League One tomorrow.

(PIC: EPIC ACTION IMAGERY)

BURTON Albion have the opportunity to put real daylight between themselves and the League One bottom four, and potentially even secure safety, this weekend.

Depending on results elsewhere, a win at Peterborough United tomorrow (1pm) could put them seven points clear of the dreaded drop zone with only two games to play, or, conversely, only a point if they lose and Exeter City, who they then play next weekend, win.

Brewers head coach Gary Bowyer has always been one to take it a game at a time and never look past the next but even he could be forgiven for having a beaming smile on his face come 3pm on Sunday if things go their way.
