A DERBYSHIRE business set up by the in-laws of the beloved Siddiqui family from Channel 4’s Gogglebox has opened in new premises following a period of “pure devastation” after a fire back in March.

And what better way to let people know you're back than with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from the TV family themselves?

Enchanted Rose Florist first opened in Alfreton’s High Street back in 2021 after a brief spell at Intu in 2020, where they enjoyed a brilliant few years thanks to loyal customers and copious amounts of elbow grease.

Set up by Shirley Insley and her daughters, Kelly-Marie and Lisa, the small business was looking forward to one of the busiest times of the year, Mother's Day, back in March but instead, the trio watched their dreams “fall apart” overnight.

Another one of Shirley’s daughters, Melissa, is married to Baasit Siddiqui, part of the well-known Derby family who are the longest-serving cast members on Gogglebox.
