Aldi backing Salvation Army with 'no hassle' donations

ALDI shoppers in Derbyshire will soon be able to donate their pre-loved clothing and textiles at some of its stores in the region.

In partnership with The Salvation Army, from September 22, the supermarket is accepting clothing and textile donations for the first time via its InPost Lockers, making it easier than ever for customers to donate pre-loved clothing as part of their shopping trip to help reduce textile waste.

Shoppers simply need to pack their items, and then place them into a locker, using the returns portal on the Aldi website - just like making an online return.
